Why Hummingbird?

It was a few weeks ago while I was piecing together a very random quilt using up fabrics I loved but have sat unused on the shelf for far too long.  The colours ranged from reds to oranges to pinks to yellows.  I mentioned to my facebook friends I must be just like a hummingbird since they are drawn to those colours also.

So Hummingbird seemed like the perfect fit for me.  It will be a place to share all the things I love and the things I make without any pressure.  If you like pretty things then I'd love for you to follow me
